Child's freedom is the logical unity of positive freedom and negative freedom. Positive freedom is the core, the seed; and negative freedom is the skin, the environment or condition. The child whose positive freedom is obstructed means his/her proficiency is restrained or the road of growing up independently is blocked, thus, he/she would to be an individual without critic thoughts, creative and reflective abilities. Undoubtedly, to some degree, the individuality is enslaved; the more negative freedom is holding, the less constraints is existing, and there must be more chances for the individuality to do initiative and creative activities. In conclusion, in the child's world, positive freedom and negative freedom are the two aspects of one thing, that is to say, the child realizes the logical unity that Isaiah Berlin who can't demonstrate in adult world. It's the very point that bridge the hearts between the child and the adult who still preserve the nature instincts or entire personalities, such as Albert Einstein, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, TaoYuanming, Russell and so on. Therefore, freedom is man's natural kindness always keeping shining.As a kind of "neutral tool", not only education can abolish or limit child's freedom, but also can protect and expand their freedom. Traditional education provokes abolishing child's freedom, it fosters obedient child; but modern education supports to protect and expand child's freedom, it educates free children.Child's freedom should be the basis and the method of education, free children should be the aim and the destination of education, only through the child's freedom can education trains free children. It's essential to solve problems which appear in the development of child education in china, and it is a precious enlightenment the contemporary western trends in the field of child education to us. Meanwhile, on the macroscopic point of view, to deal with problems rationally such as "the whopping price kindergarten" is relating to solve problems of freedom, equality and fair in the field of education.All in all, child is free and the source of free, keeping a watchful eye on child's freedom is paying close attention to society and its future member's freedom.
