Self-identity is a vital concept of psychology; it is the crucial display in formalized individual sense of belonging and self-role cognition development. Self-identity of students'profession means students hold to the evaluative,more stable inner psychological tendency in a way when making a response to their profession; That is whether the students accept what they learned, and willingly to learn and probe into the knowledge with the positive attitude and activities. Professional self-identity in postgraduate of vocational and technical education not only reflects the awareness status,approval degree and learning investment on the students'profession itself, but on the other side reflects the level of discipline education status. Therefore, research on the Professional self-identity in postgraduate of vocational and technical education will provide with the references about the discipline construction in vocational and technical education; offer the plentiful teaching content and teaching methods; provide a lot of information for the instructors to guide students'learning,researching and career planning.This study bases on clarifying the theories of connotation,type,component and developmental stage of Professional self-identity in postgraduate of vocational and technical education, analyzes its meaning affecting the academic career and the value vocational career of students, through the self-edited questionnaire about professional self-identity in postgraduate of vocational and technical education, adopt the method of step sampling and random sampling to inquiry 217 students of 7 different universities. The result shows that: first, the degree of professional self-identity in postgraduate of vocational and technical education is accordingly low. The score of professional emotion is inferior to professional cognition and will; Besides, the three items have the positive correlations, and its correlation coefficient is 0.72,0.81,0.68. By the regression analysis: students'professional will equals 0.29 plus 0.70 multiply professional knowledge plus 0.19 multiply professional emotion. Third, students'professional cognition has the characteristics like:according to他the different gender,grade,running time,current and reviews,the students in the professional identity and the dimension exist a lot of differences. But students in different university have not obvious differences about the degree of professional cognition and different dimension between them. Forth, the degree of students'professional cognition has the apparent positive correlation related to students'career decision-making self-efficacy and students' academic achievement. Its related coefficient is:0.25,0.56,0.23. And the three items has this kind of relationship, career decision-making self-efficacy equals 1.60 plus 0.612 multiply professional cognition plus 0.095 multiply academic achievement. In terms of the result of questionnaires and interviews, we find that students have the attitude to the notion of vocational and technical education, its elements about the motivation,expectation to the profession,postgraduate training system,teachers' teaching quality,instructors team level,social cognition has the great effect on the development of postgraduate of vocational and technical education. Finally, according to those elements which affects and restricts the formalization and development of vocational and technical education, it suggests that with motivating students cognition,improving the abilities of self-adapting,developing the professional emotion,clarifying the aim of educating,making better the training mode,improving the teaching level,building the scientific researching atmosphere,supporting by the educational organization will promote the formalization and development of professional cognition.
