Composition is the comprehensive function and performance of knowledge accumulation, thoughts and feeling, intelligent and language of a man. Composition teaching plays an important part in Chinese language teaching. But now with the full swing of the new curriculum reform, the composition teaching in the senior high school is still a very week link in Chinese language teaching, issues abound. Therefore, this article tries to analyze the problems of the composition teaching in the senior high school in current, and propose the corresponding strategies for the different problems.Paper is divided into four parts, The first part discusses the new curriculum standard teaching ideas and demands interpretation of the composition teaching in the senior. This section mainly explains the definition of new curriculum standard for the composition teaching in the senior high school, and analysis the targets and requirements for the composition teaching in the senior high school, in order to grasp the whole essence of new curriculum standards, and play the guiding role of the composition teaching; Part two and part three discuss the propose of question and the analysis of question, mainly from the two major factors which play the main part in quality of composition teaching——students who are the writing subjects and teachers who are the teaching-leaders,then analysis the existing problems and the causes of the problems. The fourth part discusses the corresponding strategies for the existing problems. Pointing out the ways to stimulate the students'interesting in writing, and suggesting to mobilize the enthusiasm of writing of students by taking a reasonable evaluation of composition teaching; While promoting that writing must integrate with life, in order to give a hand to students to enrich their writing materials; To collect a lot of language materials by reading, enriching their language houses and enhancing the expression of the language; Finally, the author use a lot of ink to describe how to connect the teaching of reading and composition teaching closely, promoting writing by reading, in order to improve their writing ability.
