Counselor's full name is "political counselor". With the deepening of educational innovation and education reform, it is a very difficult task and a complicated system engineering to implement the guiding principles of the sixteenth national congress and to fulfill the CPC Central Committee and State Council's Views on Further Strengthening and Improving College Students'Ideological and Political Education, in order to cultivate millions upon millions of trained personnel, a large number of top personnel and many qualified constructors and successors for the socialist cause. of it, the student work plays an irreplaceable important role. Constructing an efficient full-time student work team of good thought quality, high education background and strong working ability is not only needed by the new era's student work but also needed by the construction of reserve leaders in universities. The various schools and departments of the university are to raise awareness, strengthen leadership, make policy, make careful cultivation and make strict management. They must make the construction of this team fit for the new situation development and the university's development.But at present, there are various problems existing in the counselor teams of Chinese universities, of which the configuration of counselors is a big problem. The unstableness of the counselor team, the lack of the counselor's qualification and the unhealthy mechanism concerned with the counselor are the main reasons for the problems in the counselor team configuration. From the reality of the DP college, with the related theory and knowledge of human resources management, this paper comprehensively analyzes the counselor team configuration of DP college. This paper describes the history and situation of the DP college, and the present condition of the counselors there. Then through three typical cases of this university, it makes analysis of the problems in the counselor team configuration of this university and the reasons for these problems. With the combination of this university's reality, this paper draws a conclusion and makes suggestion for the counselor team configuration in this university.Through the detailed analysis of the problems existing in the counselor team configuration of DP college and the reasons for these problems, this paper will make the universities refocus and perfect the incentive system and selection system for the counselors, which will perfect the evaluation system for the counselor and provide strong support for the construction of a stable, excellent, specialized and professional counselor team.
