| Nowadays in face of economic globalization, the sports industry has become one of the most dynamic potential industries. With the progress and economic development, people now have a high income and more leisure time, the increasing demand for sports consumption market has expanded. At the same time, all the governments , international and national sports organizations are taking active policy that aims to promote sports'socialization and industrialization, which has not only made sports industry expand but also stimulated the development of the series of industries. In addition, it plays an important and special role in industrial structure adjustment, the optimization and upgrading, and especially in the expansion of employment channels, which will make the sports industry a fresh economic growth point. Just like the majority of medium-sized cities in our country, Xuzhou has now stepped into a period of high-speed economic and social development. The economic gross is steadily increased. Moreover, people's income level and living standards is constantly improved. According to the experience of social and economic development at home and abroad, and Xuzhou's contemporary stage of development, Xuzhou is in great demand of for the fast development of sports industry. However, due to the lack of scientific planning and correct guidance, in Xuzhou the sports industry is basically in a disordered condition. Therefore, it is of great realistic importance to study Xuzhou's sports industry of this period. In order to know the current development of sports industry in Xuzhou , to promote the development of sports industry in undeveloped areas, we have tried many ways , such as the document information , expert interviews, fieldwork method, comparative method, research techniques and mathematical statistics s and so on, by which we take a study of the current situation of the sports industry in Xuzhou and the existing problems and countermeasures. In a whole the research indicates the following results: (1) The sports industry in Xuzhou is still in its primary stage, limited by the local economy and ideas. Compared with the development of the developed areas in our country , there is still a certain gap. (2) The sports industry in Xuzhou mainly includes physical fitness and entertainment, sports competition performance industry, sports goods industry, sports lottery and so on, among which physical fitness and entertainment sports lottery are the important reliance of sporting industry in Xuzhou, Including sports while lottery sales soar become the leading industry, Xuzhou sports, However, both the sports agent industry and the sports training industry haven't got developed yet now. (3) The development of sports industry in Xuzhou have the following characteristics: the development potential of the sports industry is enormous, while the overall size is small and the development is unbalanced; items of fundamental business is increasing, while the sports services develop weakly; the business entities of sports industry is diverse, while the level of franchise needs improving. (4) The development of sports industry of Xuzhou favorable conditions: the rapid development of Xuzhou economic foundation and Xuzhou growing sports consumption demand. (5) The development of the sport industry in Xuzhou have good initial conditions, such as the continuous advancement of economy, the superiority of the resource of population and labor force and the constant development of sports consumption. In view of the above situation and problems, the author thinks that the sport's industry development of Xuzhou should be carried on based on the following aspects: (1) It's essential to reform management system and convert governmental functions. (2) We should strengthen policy support and social security investment. (3) Priority should be given to the development of services market in leisure and fitness and competitive performance so as to stimulate the sports consumption. (4) Besides attention should be paid to input in the construction of sports facilities and explore new model for stadium management. (5) We should adopt flexible and diverse forms and develop human resources in the sports industry. |
