Since the implementation of the new curriculum reform, learn case guiding teaching mode have presented a popular trend in ideology and political teaching of high school. Learn case guiding teaching mode aims to catalyze students' class activities and reflect the"student-centered"teaching concept through the carrier named"learn case". Learn case guiding teaching mode strives to realize the three dimensional teaching target, including knowledge, ability and emotional attitude values under the student-centered teaching concept. This article is based on the practice of ideology and political classroom teaching and analyzes the background and positive effect of the implementation of learn case guiding teaching mode. In addition, this article reflects the disadvantages that exist in the practice of this teaching mode and put forward some optimum proposals for implementing learn case guiding teaching mode. I expect to create this sort of ideology and political teaching which is student-centered and designed to achieve three dimensional teaching target by sublating the existing learn case guiding teaching mode.
