The research of teaching is the basic work of education. This means that teachers must put themselves in the teaching process and different teaching situations. They need have an eye for analysis of teaching theory and teaching practice, so they can have a systematic observation of teaching behavior and constant introspection for themselves. In the process of that, they will identify problems, ask questions, identify and adopt measures to solve those problems. By means of observing and analysis data, they can find out new problems, so that teaching and research can develop in spiral. In the end, professional self-development capacity and improve sustainable development.However, in many school management, there are various unsatisfactory sides in the teacher evaluation. It mainly reflects that evaluation function is too subjective; The way of evaluation is stubborn. And there are some contradiction between scientific research and teaching management. English is a special subject as a language, so we can say english teachers are in the particular difficult position because of current evaluation system."Teacher evaluation" can be divided into two types: one rewards and punishments teachers'evaluation, the other is developmental teachers'evaluation. The first one aims at the final purpose of reward and punishment; Developmental teachers'evaluation aims at promoting teacher's professional development. Developmental teacher evaluation, as a "two-way" teacher evaluation process, is built on the basis of mutual trust, and harmonious atmosphere . It will focus on the entire evaluation process . In addition, this evaluation method pays more attention to teacher's personal value, putting every teacher as independent value subject, fully concerned about the inner feelings teachers. So, this method can help teachers understand themselves further, making each teacher gain more encouragement, confidence and motivation, this method also contributes to their enthusiasm. Thus the development of teachers causes the development of their schools.With the deepening of curriculum reform, more and more high schools has realized the advantage and feasibility of development evaluation. As an English teacher, I work on the evaluation system of senior high school in details, and find out the real condition that the system is used for high school English teacher .After that , try to find out the proper solution to the problems, creating a comfortable environment for English teachers.In addition, we must cultivate the high school English teachers and improve their professional level of consciousness, which promote their professional development. On this basis, we finally try to establish high school English teacher development professional level evaluation system. High school English teachers should continue to develop their professional quality. The development depends on the role of internal factors. Therefore, the evaluation of high school English teachers encourage high school English teachers to mobilize themselves and participate in the development and improvement. To achieve the goal, the author does a research into teacher professional development evaluation system .High school English teacher professional development evaluation system of research should be established as a reference in the evaluation of its own, it is necessary to improve their own teaching as the principle target , and the research is for the purpose of improving teaching efficiency. We all expect that a satisfying system of sustainable development on English teacher comes into being as soon as possible.
