As the development of society, the competition in the 21st century has become a competition for talent. Talent competition calls for qualified people that we have to train. The training of qualified people lies in education. And education itself is based on basic education. Currently, primary and middle school has extensively carried out tumultuous reform for basic curriculum.With the aim to develop the students' ability to explore life and improve their scientific and cultural quality,the reform was launched to promote their awareness of innovation and innovative capacity and develop the spirit of scientific exploration.And then the national quality will be comprehensively enhanced.With the goal to improve their scientific cultural literacy,this article describes overal research on physics teaching via literature, questionnaire, self-Inquiry, lessons learned and researches the application of zetetic teaching for physics teaching.This paper is divided into three parts.The first part introduces content and theoretical basis of zetetic teaching.The second one discusses its implementation. The third one discusses its application for physics teaching in junior high school.Theoretical analysis and teaching practice shows that scientific exproration enables the students to take the initiative to identify problems and strive to solve them. They will also personally experience the research process and learn the application of scientific methods as well.Thus they can get access to scientific findings and improve their learning ability as well as scientific literacy.It is also good to have certain positive role on their independent study, funded exploration and so on.
