Research On The Current Situations And Foster Strategies Of Undergraduate Students' Visual Literacy Major In Educational Technology

The visual literacy become more important along with the advent of the age of visual culture. As the receiver of visual information and the exploiter of visual resource, undergraduate student major in educational technology must have higher level visual literacy.However, the present situations of his visual literacy are not very optimistic.There are many problems in its training, and interrelated researches are very less, the vigor and depth of the researches are very finite.Based on thinking of the above problems, the author sorts out the related research trends at home and abroad, analyzes many scholars'definitions and ability structures on visual literacy form integrated perspective of art, culture, technology and education by researching literatures and analyzing substances. Then, the author delimits the circumscription and ability structure of visual literacy by Delphi method.Combined with characteristics of undergraduate students major in educational technology and their requirements of visual literacy, the writer locates the circumscription and ability structure of their visual literacy.According to these, the author inquires into the requirements, present situations and training status of undergraduate students'visual literacy major in educational technology by devising questionnaire and interview questions, in order to reveal reasons which affect their visual literacy's level.According to the reasons, and combining with desirable previous studies, the author proposes certain numbers of tactics and puts some operable strategies into practice. Try to enrich and consummate the related theories, provide some theoretical supports and practical references, make the visual literacies of undergraduate students major in educational technology to be groomed and further promoted.
