The promotion of vocational education has trained plenty of high-qualified talents for the construction of our nation's modernization, which has not only greatly improved economic growth and social progress, but also contributed a lot to the changes of the traditional concepts of education A Good Scholar Will Make An Official, individual development and overall improvement of quality-oriented education.Although relatively fewer in number, the secondary vocational art schools in Guangdong undertake the important task of training competent personnel for the local major arts bodies,enterprises and institutions, while playing a significant role in the overall development and progress of socialism. On the other hand, we should be keenly aware of the problems existed in the secondary vocational art education in Guangdong, such as that the pattern of running school fails to meet the need of high-qualified art talents under the present conditions of market economy. By the means of the research of the typical pattern of running vocational school in the economically high-developed western countries, we've found that the secondary vocational art education should be market-oriented, based on which specialty courses are reasonably set up, to highlight the training of the students'artistic accomplishment and vocational aptitude, and the space for the development of secondary vocational art education is to be extended, coinciding its development with the social one, by training a number of qualified secondary vocational art professionals for the society and providing high-leveled students' sources for the Institutions of higher education.This paper encompasses several major topics:Part one:introduction, introducing the background and the meaning of the thesis, The current researches, the research methods on the pattern of running secondary vocational art school at home and abroad, and the central concepts appeared in the thesis.Part two:thrashing out the problems existed in the secondary vocational art education in Guangdong. Part three:case analysis on Guangzhou Art School to explore the pattern of running secondary vocational art school in Guangdong.Part four:providing reforming measures for the pattern of running secondary vocational art school in Guangdong.Part five:summary of the paper.
