Nowadays in high schools there are many students with studying difficulties in Chinese learning, so it becomes a matter of urgency for Chinese teachers to help those who have difficulty in learning Chinese. After a thorough study of the under achievers in Chinese learning in my school, I find out the main types and reasons why some students have difficulty in learning Chinese. On this basis, I work out some ways to help those students, for example, paying more attention to their psychological problems, improving their ability to learn Chinese and influencing them with the power of culture. By putting educational theories and transforming strategies into practice, this thesis suggests that teachers should focus on the process in which students build up the knowledge and acquire the strategies in Chinese learning. Besides, teachers should also lay emphasis on the consolidation of some basic knowledge and learning strategies of the students weak in learning Chinese. By cultivating their listening, reading as well as expressing (speaking and writing) abilities, teachers can help transform those students with the improvement of their Chinese learning, thus finding a suitable way, which highlights the characteristics of Chinese subject, to help the students weak in Chinese.
