The research about the storytelling teaching of the history curriculum in junior midlle school is a very unavoidable and urgent work. So this thesis is to comment on this subject and will discuss the three questions about it:what,why and how.The first chapter will explain what is the storytelling teaching of history curriculum in junior middle school. In fact,it contains the several processes which including collecting,telling,analyse,application and so on. So the storytelling teaching of history curriculum in junior middle school is not the low-level teaching.The second chapter will prove why storytelling teaching of history must be carried out in junior middle school. The necessity of it will be firstly proved by the analyse of the relationship between the history curriculum and the historical stories,and than will be proved by the analyse of particularity of the history teaching and the students in junior high school.The third chapter will tell how to carry out the storytelling teaching in junior middle school. The thesis will offer some skills and methods which many teachers and scholars have ignored. These skills and methods include three parts: the first is how to collecting historical stories,the second is how to choose historical stories and the last is how to telling the historical stories.
