On The Improvement Of The Pragmaticality Of Students ' Ideological And Political Education In The Private-owned Colleges

The ideological and political education in colleges and universities is a key part in the whole ideological education of the CPC. Practicing it on the right track is not only beneficial to the cause of the Party but also extremely important to the bright future of our nation. The central government has paid great attention to this work, repeatedly emphasizing that we should strengthen and improve the ideological and political education in colleges and universities.Just like the public colleges, the private-owned ones have also undertaken the heavy task to cultivate for our society millions of special talents to meet the demands of our modernization. And, the students'quality and cultivating achievements have more and more become guarantee for their own development.After dozens of years, great changes have taken place in private-owned colleges of Changzhou, especially in the field of the ideological and political education, which has developed a suite of effective theories and practice and cultivated myriads of talents for the society. However, faced with ever changing and developing society, the pragmaticality of the ideological and political education seems not enough. Based on the reality, how to face the special nature of private colleges and universities, face the new situation of ideological and political education and new problems in Changzhou private colleges and universities, and take effective measures to improve the effectiveness of ideological and political education, has become a major issue in front of the ideological and political education workers and private college students. Based on literature researches, questionnaires and individual interviews, this paper, by applying the theory of the ideological and political education in Marxism, analyzing students' character in the four private-owned colleges in Changzhou, the reality of the ideological and political education, daily ideological and political education, and incorrect ideas in terms of ideological and political education to the leaders of higher education, has put forward the necessity and feasibility to improve the ideological and political education for students in the civilian-run colleges, and the strategies have been born in this paper, that is, to implement the pedagogical concept of"Human is the essence of education,the moral education is first,the combination of knowledge and action,overall development", integrate sources of ideological and political education, and improves content of education, enhance management and ideological education for students in civilian-run colleges, strengthen the construction of ideological and political education, perfect management system and working mechanism of the ideological and political education in the private-owned colleges, create sound environment for developing talents, and improve the ideological and political education in the private-owned colleges in a real sense.
