The Revelation Of Middle School Physics Teaching Reform From Odyssey Of The Mind

Through World War II, The United States recognized the imperative of education reform, carried out the first education reform during 1950s, cognitive structuralism swept the United States. in the 1960s and 1970s it was also concerned that education should be people-oriented, humanistic education is proposed. With two major U.S. educational reforms, a number of Education came into being. Education of odyssey of the mind was put forward in such a background.Odyssey of the mind derive from the United States, 20th century, 70 years, with the concept of developing "Future American" , NJ Glassboro State College Samuel Micklus Professor proposed the concept of Odyssey of the mind. In the following 30 years, Odyssey of the mind attracted wide attention in the education sector of the United States , and the Odyssey of the mind movement has gradually developed by the United States around the world. in the 20 centery, 80 years, Samuel Micklus came to China with Odyssey of the mind. Odyssey of the mind movement was first appeared in Shanghai in the Olympic movement, and gradually developed into several provinces in the country.Domestic reserch for Odyssey of the mind is rare, most of which is the discourse on the positive effects brought about during the discussion of the theme, and research scholars are concentrated in Shanghai. Compared to Cgina, more concerned about the Odyssey of the mind in foreign contries, but reserchs in this area are also rare, so this part of study abroad, I mainly introduce Samuel Micklus'view Scott A. Warner's PhD paper.This paper aims to introduce the development and the reaserch status of Odyssey of the mind home and abroad to more clearly understand the advantages and disadvantages of the Odyssey of the mind, bring myself some inspiration, and bring some inspiration to the implementation of the new curriculum reform .The competition of Odyssey of the mind is thought and reviewed from two perspectives ,the case studies, and literature reading in this article.
