With the advances of Network technology and information technology, the way of learning has also undergone a significant transformation. Collaborative learning has become one of the main learning way that the new curriculum reform initiate. And computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) has become an important form of learning through the network.CSCL is supported by constructivist theory of learning, as the computer is cognitive tools, network technology and multimedia technology to construct learning situations for learners, in which learners exchange and cooperate with others to construct their new knowledge basing on their prior one. Compared with traditional learning, CSCL has many advantages. At present the application of CSCL has no longer confined to laboratories. It has entered into the specific educational application and life practice, in order to solve real-life problems. As many problems exsisted in the current training of teachers'educational technology capabilities in rural primary and secondary school, this paper attempts to apply CSCL to the training to establish appropriate models and processes, at last to improve the training effect.Refering to the existing research on CSCL, the training of teachers'education technology capabilities in rural primary and secondary school and other aspects of literature, analyzing and summarizing the characteristics and advantages of CSCL, and considering the current problems exsisting in the training of teachers'education technical skills, the paper has brought CSCL learning strategies into the training of tachers'educational technological capabilities, and explored the application models of the teachers'training in rural primary and secondary school, at last analysised its feasibility, and forecast its development prospects. It should continue to carry out the exploration and research, and develop rural education greatly, as a result to improve teachers'education technical capabilities in rural primary and secondary school, and continue to accelerate the pace of information technology education in rural areas, at last to reduce the gap between rural and urban education and make a balance in the development of education.The application of CSCL to teachers'education technology training in rural primary and secondary school, will have a certain impact and significance in education field. It also has a positive role in promoting the modernization and the leap-forward development of China's education information technology.
