Thinking and planning of future occupation is an important development theme in the growth process of senior high school students.Active exploration and planning of future occupation is an important guarantee for senior high school students to choose their college major and future occupation.Especially under the background of the reform of the college entrance examination,it has an important influence on the current and even the realization of the life goal of the high school students.Parents are the child's first teachers,and Parenting styles has a profound effect on the future orientation of the adolescent.Career decision-making self-efficacy is an individual's confidence in his choice of future major or career.Previous studies have shown that career decision-making self-efficacy is an important individual factor in predicting individual career development.The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of high school students' future career planning and whether career decision-making self-efficacy played an intermediary role between Parenting styles and future career planning.In this study,504 students from two high schools in Jinan were selected as subjects.The future career planning scale,career decision-making self-efficacy scale and career decision-making self-efficacy scale were used to measure the future career planning scale,career parenting styles scale and career decision-making self-efficacy scale.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)There are significant differences in gender,parents' educational background,occupation and family monthly income between high school students and Parenting styles.The career decision-making self-efficacy of senior high school students has significant differences in whether they are the only child,the place of origin of students,the educational background of their parents,and the monthly income of their occupation and Family.(2)Compared with other parenting styles,high school students with authority Parenting styles have better career planning and higher career decision making self-efficacy.(3)Parental acceptance was positively correlated with career decision-making self-efficacy,parental acceptance,parental punishment and psychological autonomy were positively correlated with future career planning,and career decision-making self-efficacy was positively correlated with future career planning.(4)Parental acceptance was a significant predictor of career exploration,career involvement and future career planning scores.The dimensions of self-evaluation and plan-making in career decision-making self-efficacy were significant predictors of career exploration,career involvement and future career planning.The total score and dimensions of career decision-making self-efficacy were significantly predicted by parental acceptance.(5)Career decision-making self-efficacy of senior high school students played a mediating role between parental acceptance,parental punishment and future career planning.
