Since 1956, when General Electric founded the"Crotonville", corporate universities (CUs) rapidly developed on a global scale. At first many people may associate'CUs'with the large companies. Actually, the scale of the CU is very flexible. We can establish a CU according to the need and conditions of an enterprise, which make it possible for small and medium-sized enterprises to build a CU. Nearly 60 years after appearance, the connotation and extension of CU has been gradually enriched. CU is not only a training organization which takes the corporation's name, but also a training system which has the strategic function.Firstly, the paper summarizes the research progress and situation of CUs, and then analyzes the formation and development definition, characteristics and the Constructing elements of CU. Secondly, the paper select Zsoft as a case, analysis of the current situation and main problems of their training system, and probes into the necessity and possibility of establishing a CU in small and medium-sized enterprises. Thirdly, facing the main problems existing in the training of Zsoft, the paper uses the theory of CU and other relevant knowledge, technologies and methods, analyze how to help Zsoft to build a CU. There are four steps for Zsoft to build a CU, which are ascertaining this CU's strategic orientation, establishing a curriculum system, establishing a lecturer system and establishing an ensured system of training quality. And the curriculum system and lecturer system are the concern of this part. Lastly, the paper summarizes the prerequisite that the small and medium-sized enterprises should have when to construct CUs, and makes a few proposals for reference to enterprises of the same trade, hoping to supply the valuable reference for the raising of training management level of small and medium-sized IT enterprises and improving the their training effects. |
