In1995,the world’s first corporate university which called GE Crotonville wasestablished and corporate universities quickly spread worldwide. After that the corporateuniversity was vigorously developing in China. The Chinese first corporate universitywas established in1998. Then, after a decade, there are242corporate universities wereestablished in China. These data are getting from the public media report and the officialinformation. Then this numbers are rapidly growing to1186in2012, which mean that thenumber of Chinese corporate university growing rate was1.2for every working daybetween these four years. More and more local governments regard the corporateuniversities as an important index of regional comprehensive competitiveness and moreand more enterprises pay high attention to the talent development as a corporate strategy.Similarly, more and more enterprises realize the development of corporate university is animportant issue to talents cultivation, cultural inheritance, knowledge innovation,prospective study, management innovation and value chain integration.In this research, the author firstly summarizes the research status and researchprogress of home and abroad about corporate university. In addition, this research analyzethe generation, development, definition and characteristics of corporate university andanalysis the typical case about the elements of large manufacturing enterprises constructand build corporate university. Secondly, this paper analyze the present training situationand main problems of Ningbo large manufacturing enterprises and combines theenvironmental changes outside the enterprise and the inside problems of enterprises toanalyze the necessary of Ningbo large manufacturing enterprises establishing corporateuniversity. The foundation of Ningbo large manufacturing enterprise software andhardware and the development of E-learning technology prove the ability to buildcorporate university of Ningbo large manufacturing enterprise. Furthermore, this paperuses the related theory, techniques and methods to establish the corporate university ofNingbo large manufacturing enterprises. This research mainly focusses on strategicallypositioned, curriculum system construction, teaching system construction and trainingquality guarantee system construction, then use these factors to establish Ningbo largemanufacturing enterprises corporate university. This research mainly discusses thecurriculum system construction and teaching system construction factors. Especially, the curriculum system was established according to the curriculum characteristics ofmanufacturing enterprises. Furthermore, the training quality guarantee systemconstruction was explored from the purpose and operation mode, management system,management support and external cooperation and communication, etc. Finally, accordingto the QinYuan case study, this paper was deep insight into the details of the buildingelements and hopes to provide the reference to establish corporate university of Ningbomanufacturing enterprises.The establishing of corporate university for Ningbo large manufacturing enterprisemust not only focus on a single training elements such as dot, messy development ideas,and the planning and development of corporate university should be the integration ofstrategic positioning and core ability of enterprises. According to the needs of thedevelopment of the enterprise strategy, the purpose of corporate university need to playthe role of the impeller of innovation, the counselor of employee development and thebusiness partner which will make the corporate university become a booster of enterprisestrategy. In addition, enterprises should focus on strategically positioned, curriculumsystem construction, teaching system construction and training quality guarantee systemconstruction as the basic supporter of corporate university efficient and continuousoperation, which will full influence on the employees, organization and culture ofenterprises.
