As a complex system of sociology, biology and psychology, the hospital could bring much powerful stimulation that affects both patients and paramedics. The characteristics of nursing, including high workload, frequent work in shifts, constitutively tense emotional stimulation, complex interpersonal relationship and conflict, contribute to the stressors of nursing and bring high working pressure and psychological stress to nursing workers. For nursing baccalaureate students clinical nursing practice play as the last stage of college education, and as the transitional stage from students to nursing workers. Besides the stressors mentioned above, the clinical nursing students confront with a series of pressures, which comes from unfamiliar environment, role transformation, unskilled in work and difficulty in theory and practice. Further more, the students are of a transitional stage of psychological and physiological development, in which their psychological defense mechanism and stability are still not mature, therefore, mental problems are easily raised when the students come up against some stress events. The health condition could be impairing via the changing psychological activity if the stressors can't be properly regulated.The present study investigated the pressure status and stressors among nursing baccalaureate students during clinical practice from a developmental and innovating viewpoint. In addition to analysis the characteristics of stressors, we also predicted some abnormal mental responses during the clinical nursing practice. Finally, we suggested a series of pointed and systematic psychological interventions according to the requirement of the development of the 21th century.The present study consists of 5 parts:in the first part, the pressure status of clinical nursing students was analyzed by three aspects, including the basic situation of the clinical nursing students, the overall pressure status and its characteristics, as well as the pressure variation trends during the period of clinical practice; In the second part, the main reasons of negative stressors among nursing baccalaureate students during clinical practice were analyzed by analysis of the stressors that drive the students bearing negative mentality and by the overall analysis of stressors during the period of nursing practice; In the third part, the unconventionally mental health conditions and common psychological problems among the clinical nursing practice were predicted; In the 4th part, the necessity and urgency of the interventions on mental health problems during the clinical nursing practicing period were discussed respectively. By means of training and inducing the recognition of the students, making decisions and changing behaviors, the program aimed to let the students are capable of self-dissection, self-evaluation, self-stimulation, self-regulation, self-education and self-treatment. Ultimately, the students are able to sustain health mental conditions and master their own healthiness; In the 5th part, the main strategies of psychological interventions during the period of nursing practice were particularly discussed in 9 aspects, including combining the psychological education with politics at school, making the best possible use of the educational function of the campus culture, improving the intervention strategies of mental crisis, establishing high-quality intervention cohort for mental crisis, increasing the mental health conditions of the nursing students, building a new platform for psychological counseling and developing the success service system, and lighten mental burden of college students.
