With the development of the times and society, people pay more attention to aesthetic education. China has promulgated "the musical curriculum standard of the Full-time Compulsory Education". The basic idea, "aesthetic of music as the core ", is listed as the primary goal of music teaching in primary and middle schools. However, it must be admitted that our understanding to the conceptual of music aesthetic education is not perfect, so there are many problems in teaching. The current contradiction between "basic music knowledge and skills of teaching" and" music for the aesthetic core of must be resolved urgently. Therefore, the aim of this thesis is to analyze and explore the deep reasons about contradiction and put forward the corresponding solutions.Firstly, this paper outlines the music aesthetic education connotation, concept and features of the music aesthetic education in junior high school, and then the form of questionnaires are adopted to understand the teachers and students'current situation of music aesthetic education in Changsha middle school. Based on analysis of the survey data, this thesis further elaborated the ideal, goal, measure of "junior high school music education with the core of music aesthetics" and" basic music knowledge and skills teaching". Finally, it put forward a thought that is skills of basic music knowledge and aesthetic teaching conception which is under the view of big education environment. According to its perspectives, this thesis also put forward concrete measures and opinions on how to improve students' aesthetic ability and basic music knowledge through various music teaching practices.
