Since 90s of the 20th century, private education in China has developed considerably. Private College has become an important integral part of socialist education undertakings and it is complementary to public college together making a positive contribution to the socialist education. However, with the deepening of reform and opening-up and rapid development of social economy, in the process of private college's development, teacher management is not perfect, ranks of teachers are unstable and there has been a serious drain of teachers who left school and went to foreign countries or domestic enterprises where they can get better treatment.Teachers are a group of pursuing personal development and career success. They also demand for progress and innovation, and are important human resources for the development of private universities. The loss of them in a region will directly-affect the region's economic development, especially badly affects the long-term stable development of private universities. In the face of major economic and social transition period, private colleges need to stabilize. Teaching force, improve the human resource management of teachers, reduce the loss of teachers. And that is a severe challenge.Starting from this issue, this article did a research which was based on the sociological theories of human resource, analysis the loss of human resource in Changchun Private Colleges. This article summarized the theories about brain drain home and abroad, combined with the imperfect policies, poor natural conditions and infrastructure, low payment, and the limited job development. The use of quantitative and qualitative survey methods and investigations of several Private College provide real materials of brain drain in Changchun. For these reasons, some meaningful measures and solutions were put forward in this article.
