With the explosive development of preschool education, kinds of training for teachers emerge like mushroom after the rain. However, the pragmaticality of training is still a big problem. Consequently, how to make the training more pragmatic has become more important when the training need is needed. This study is aiming to provide some references for enhancing the pertinence and pragmaticality of kindergarten backbone teachers'training through survey and analysis of training need of kindergarten backbone teachers. Cluster sampling method has been used in this study in order to analysis the training need differences between different backbone teachers clusters.Based on the document collected of the training of good kindergarten teachers, I have designed the questionnaire survey and interview outline, doing the research on in-service training of good teachers in kindergartens in Shanghai. According to the Needs Analysis theory, the demand of teachers'training has to consider both external and internal demands. Therefore, there are two kinds of questionnaire survey for this study. One is for the good teachers in different kindergartens; the other is for the principals of these kindergartens. The questionnaires are sent in method of random sampling. They are given to good teachers and principals from different levels of kindergartens. For good teachers, the questionnaires are given to teachers with different teaching experience on purpose.126questionnaires are sent out and114are effectively collected. Collection rate is90%.For principals, the questionnaires are given to them in terms of different kindergartens they are in.80questionnaires are spreads and74are effectively,92.5collection rate.The study demonstrates:The main training mode is collective training; training content mainly focused on ability of teaching and researching; training time is usually scheduled during working time. Teachers reckon the training as "OK". However, they have strong demand for training. In the aspect of training content, teachers show strong demand for improving teaching capacity, when principals intend to require teachers to enhance teaching, researching and children's knowledge development. In the aspect of training mode, teachers believe that the combination of local (in kindergarten that the teacher works at) training and collective training will meet their demand better. For the training mode, the interaction with experts and specific instructions for certain areas are highly recommended. For the trainee, trainer with rich experience is more welcome. For the training timetable, training during working time is preferable. For the training motivation, most teachers are following the superior's order.In the basis of this study, this essay is going to come up with suggestions in the aspects of training concept, content, mode, and incentive mechanism and so on. It is the writer's hope to promote the effectiveness and pertinence of the training on good teachers in kindergartens.
