The new curriculum reform is a trend of China's basic education curriculum reform anddevelopment. Under the new curriculum reform, the reform of teaching methods ofpolitics in middle school plays an important part, it is an important way to cultivateoutstanding constructors of socialism, and is a long-term, arduous great project. Underthe guidance of the concept of the new curriculum reform, to enhance the research ofteaching methods of politics in middle school is helpful to the educators to better theirteaching, to cultivate a better outlook on life, world views, values of the students, and tothe reform of China's basic education curriculum constantly growing. However, thereare many problems need researching in our current teaching methods in politics, theoutdated teaching methods, the aged teaching ways and measures, and teacher's concepttoward students didn't improve, restricting the reform of teaching methods in China 'spolitics. So this paper choice ideology and politics education course classroom teachingmethods under the new curriculum reform of middle school as launched research topichas the important practical significance.This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction: It mainly puts forward the research theme andexpounds the research background and significance, the current research situation athome and abroad, way of thinking, the research methods and the basic framework of thepaper.The second part is the analysis on current situation of ideological and politicalcourse teaching methods in high schools. It clearly advances the achievements we'vegot on the using of teaching methods in high school ideological and political courses atthis stage and the problems, analyses the causes of the problems and concludes thedevelopments direction of teaching methods on high school ideological and politicaleducation course under the new curriculum reform. The third part proposes the principles that should be followed during the usingprocess of ideological and political education course teaching methods under the newcurriculum reform and the specific teaching methods, in order to enrich and perfect thesubject of ideological and political education.
