The interior competition in most industries turns more and more intensively driven by prompt development and global integration of the market economy in China. The supplier management is considered as the one of the core elements in modern business administration, whose selection and evaluation play the crucial role in the products'cost and developing cycle time reduction as well as the quality improvement. Also it is one kind of effective way to enhance the company's capability of fast response and core-competitiveness. However, most Chinese companies still stay backwards on supplier evaluation and selection result from the traditional methodology, low price orientated, being in use for quite long time. Nowadays, improvement on suppliers'selection and evaluation attract becomes the hot topic aroused the discussion from both researchers and industrial tops.My research is to use reality and integrating theory with practice, following by question raised up, mathematic and statistical analysis on the example, supplier selection and evaluation on DT Tech Corporation, and come out with solution.The dissertation starts from the introduction of the relevant theories of supply chain management supplier management, the importance of the process of suppliers'selection and evaluation as well as brief introduction of DT Tech Corporation and its industry. Then the main body is made up by two parts. Firstly, here analyzes current model of supplier management, especially on the supplier selection and evaluation, by DT Tech Corporation and finds out the existing problems it has. Secondly, it is on problem solving that I proposed a new process of supplier selection an evaluation applying the supply chain management theories into realistic of DT Tech Corporation, including suppliers'sort management, systematic suppliers'evaluation process and criteria. Lastly, it is to examine the hypothesis that I've made for DT Tech Corporation to see its theoretical and applicable value on its effectiveness. In summary, the dissertation benefits the suppliers'selection and evaluation process improvement for DT Tech Corporation while provided good example for reference to other companies.
