| It is common that multiple projects is simultaneously running in IT company. parallel implementation of multi-project exists many questions, as follows:(1)resource plan is unreasonable, some projects often allocate inadequate or excessive resource; (2)The traditional functions of business organization is not suited matrix management, cross-sectoral coordination of resources can not be solved; (3) It can not resolve rank project priority according to organizational strategy..In response to these problems, this paper based on portfolio management theory, combined with Shanghai Media IT project management, the AHP method as a tool, explores the mplementation of the IT project portfolio management company. The main work done by the following:The first, elaborated the concept of IT portfolio management and application status, in-depth analysis of the IT project portfolio management implementation problems, and propose a feasible project portfolio management methods and tools.Second, it study and draw conclusions project portfolio management application with AHP method, propose a method based on AHP project portfolio management framework and processes, combined with cases on the implementation of key action steps and describe the details.Third, it discusses the Shanghai Media practice in the IT application portfolio management approach based on AHP framework for project portfolio management process, on the portfolio using AHP methods, evaluation, optimization and balance, as well as to assess portfolio risk and projections to demonstrate the feasibility and practicality.Practice proves that companies can achieve a reasonable ranking project priorities and draw up strategic objectives, a reasonable overall planning of resources, effective implementation of the concurrent management of multiple projects, IT projects significantly improve overall profitability with the proposed AHP-based approach for project portfolio management framework and processes. |
