Research On The Construction Of The Hotel Performance Management System

With the rapid development of economy in our country, the hotel industry has obtained rapid and healthy development, at the same time; it also has to face more intense even cruel competition environment. The competition in the hotel industry gradually turns to the hotel management. Therefore, how to establish a performance management mechanism in hotel industry is becoming an important issue of the hotel management, and it also causes the concerns and attentions from many managers and management researchers.The content of this paper is to research the establishment of current hotel performance management system. It probes into the necessity of the construction of the hotel performance management system on basis of the study of the enterprise strategic management theory, incentive demand theory and management process theory. It also analyzes its current situation and management environment through the methods of PEST, Five Forces Model and SWOT Analysis; and points out the problems of the performance management in China's hotel industry. The paper uses the methods of MBO (Management By Objectives), KPI (Key Performance Indicator) and BSC (Balanced Score Card) as a source of reference to establish hotel performance management system, of which the research object is the department of the hotel industry. Based on these, this paper does a specific analysis on the exploration, improvement and implementation process of establishing performance management system in FY Hotel. And it further demonstrates that the establishing the performance management system has an enormous and effective impetus to the hotel management.The innovation of this paper is to clearly define the content and object of the research, to establish a more scientific performance management system.
