With the rise of knowledge economy in global and the rapid development of science and technology, knowledge has become the main factor of social development and human progress. Knowledge workers have become a major force in the organization in present days. Knowledge workers are the core strength of the enterprise. The enterprise's performance depends on the knowledge workers' performance. The enterprise would not be able to keep competitive in the market untill they fully motivate knowledge workers'enthusiasm, improve their performance, inspire their innovation.The empoyee consider salary is a very important attribute of the job. Good payment can greatly motivate employee's effieciency. Pay satisfaction is one of the important aspect of motivation system. Pay satisfaction based on equity theroy also has a profound impact on employee's performance.After having systematically introduced the pay satisfaction, equity theory and job performance, based on the knowledge workder as the reserch object, the paper analyses the relationship between the satisfaction of pay equity and the job performance. After empirieal analyses, major results can be concluded as follows:Firstly, it has remarkable positive relationship between the satisfaction of pay equity and job performance. The distribution, program and interaction of pay equity satisfaction have positive relationship to the job performance, task performance, learning performance and innovation performance.Secondly, the satisfaction of pay equity distribution can accurately forecast the job performance, same as interation of pay equity does to the task performance. However the program of pay equity can not forecast the job performance.
