Empirical Research On The Motivation Of Farmers' Land Circulation

As the core of the rural land problem,rural land circulation has attracted extensive attention of the society under the construction of new socialist countryside and the development of modern agriculture background.This paper takes farmers'land circulation behavior as breakthrough point,studies present state of rural land circulation and farmers'cognition and decision. Then combines the theoretical analysis with the empirical studies to further reaserch the motivation of farmers'land circulation behavior.On this basis the paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to steadily advance land circulation,in order to offer reference for related department to formulate policies,implement regulation and supervision.The paper firstly introduces rural land circulation about our country and we will have basic knowledge about land circulation.Then analysis farmers'behavior and decision throughout the process of land circulation.Now the circulation patterns are continuously innovated,the participant have become gradually diversified,the effect become more and more remarkable.Under these backgrounds,Differernt cognitions and the abilities to take risk of farmers make different decisions and choices. The study also summarizes the problems about land circulation.Firstly,farmers don't wish to transfer their lands because of their old ideas. The phenomenon of leaving the land uncultivated are astill exist.Secondly,it is confronted with imperfect circulation mechanism and poor circulation circumstance.Thirdly,irregular circulation and lack of protection of the rights and interests of farmers.Fourthly,narrow transfer range and short-term conduct.For the motivation of farmers'land circulation,the paper firstly summarizes internal and external motivation which promote land circulation by descriptive analysis.Then through empirical studies in rural areas of Sanmenxia,Henan Province we discover that the most marked motivation is benefit and profit farmers persue.According to regression model,we explore that economic attraction,educational level of the head of rural household,increasing of non-agricultural income are the main motivations that promote land circulation in rural areas of Sanmenxia.Based on the research of farmers'land circulation behavior and motivation,we observe the starting point and beneficial principle of farmers'behavior,and internal constraint and external environment which influencing farmers'behavior.We also observethe induction mechanism of farmers'behavior.It is considered that we should improve internal constraint and external environment to further promote rural land circulation.Some countermeasures should put forward as followed:Specify the property rights of rural land and perfect land circulation mechanism.Improve the construction of land circulation service systemand land circulation market.Enhance farmers'cognition about land circulation and provide more training for farmers.Take the development of modern agriculture as target to explore new land circulation patterns. Steadily advancing the process of integration of urban and rural areas,accelerating the establishment of social security system.
