The purpose of writing this essay is to offer one of the solutions for port/stevedoring (?)erprises on how to implement "enterprise training administration"(ETA) and conclude its developing target.Firstly, this essay explains the theories of ETA at home and abroad, particularly, it makes analysis for the major functions occurred in the ETA practice. It also expounds on the significance, modality, and importance as well as its significant functions on improving core competitiveness and serving enterprise strategy. Through the analysis, it further defines the system mode and impact, as well as the significance for the improvement of social quality and capability of workforce, and the promotion of social progress.Secondly, it illustrated the current ETA situation of port/stevedoring companies. Port/stevedoring companies normally are state-owned large groups. Training program is of great impact towards the companies'existence and development. Nowadays, shipping industry develops swiftly and vigorously. The application of advanced technology has essentially changed the traditional operation mode of port/stevedoring companies. Therefore, it is no doubt that setting up training system that suits the development needs is of great importance, in order to fit the fast developing port industry and to improve the entire quality of employees. This essay describes the composition, target, mode and method of training system, taking one of the roro terminals as an example, makes the analysis of the ETA target, designing of training program, result assessment, as well as the guideline concluded so as to direct further improvement of ETA level.Lastly, the essay emphasizes the tight integration between the training program and the HR management. It further concludes that training program is one of the key factors of HR management, the visible carrier for personnel training. Enterprise training program must fit the demand of company development and personnel training. Enterprise training program should make innovations in training mode and content, so as to serve the companies'operation and development.
