Sustainable Development Strategy, Ky Yellow Phosphorus Industry Energy Saving Context

Being a resource-oriented industry, the yellow phosphorus smelting in KY County is now facing a great challenge of realizing energy conservation and emission reduction on one hand, and sustainable development on the other. It is far from enough to handle it from merely one aspect to transfer the developing pattern of the yellow phosphorus smelting industry in KY and to succeed in the upgrading and sustainable development for the whole industry at large. It is, however, a systematic cooperation which needs effective and powerful coordination for every related respect. Therefore, it is of theoretical and practical significance to study how to realize sustainable development for the yellow phosphorous smelting companies in KY as for the adherence to Scientific Development View, the construction of socialist harmonious society and the promotion of the sound and rapid development for the economy.Starting with the hows and whys of the problems which the traditional yellow phosphorous smelting industry in KY County faces, all of the factors affecting the industry are discussed with the studying of domestic and foreign theories and experiences in this article. The SWOT analysis methodology is adopted to portray and analyses the present situation of the industry in KY, by which strategic and countermeasure suggestions are made to realize energy conservation and sustainable development in the yellow phosphorous smelting industry. At last, feasibility of all these strategic and countermeasure suggestions is verified by pragmatic projects in this article.
