With the gradual development and expansion of our enterprises, many companies pay more attention to corporate culture. But most companies have no good ideas about building it. They mainly take some traditinal means of cultural constucton such as leaders'propaganda, demonstratons, lectures and other form of reports. These measures emphasize too much on the initiative of employees. In fact, most employees will not accept the new corporate culture initiatively. The actions have some degree of stagnation. Therefore, it has big practical and theoretiacl significances to study new ways and enrich ralate theory of building corporate culture. Because traditonal culture constuction methods are lack of system and binding, performance management become our reserch focus as the core of institutional management.At present, both domestic and foreign researches of the mutual relation between performance management and the corporate culture are mainly elaborated from the perspective of impact of corporate culture on performance management, such as the study of the impact of corporate culture on corporate performance, the study of the impact of corporate culture on the effect of the implementation of corporate performance and so on. But there are few studies about the impact of performance management on corporate culture. not only this paper describes the relationship between performance management and corporate culture, but also elaborates the process that the corporate culture forms the mechanism that performance management impacts on corporate culture, which benefits the exponentials of the corporate culture know the reasons that the system of performance management impacts on the construction of corporate culture better. Furthermore, most domestic and foreign researches of the impact of performance management on corporate culture adopt the qualitative methods. The article discusses detaily the relation of the performance management system and corporate culture. From the perspective the empirical, discussing the validation of the performance management's four progresses to the culture: performance plan, implementation, feedback and the application of the performance evaluation.After reviewing both correlative domestic and foreign researches , this paper designs the scale about performance management and corporate culture, according which actual data is gotten by handing out questionnaires between target enterprises. After that the data is analysed by the methods of factor analysis, correlatiing analysis, and regression analysis through SPSS 17.0.The results shows that the tendency of evaluation indicate in performance plan stage can influence the type of corporate culture to same extent. At the same time, the Strength of the control in the performance implementation, the effect of applying the rusult of performance feedback and performance evaluations have some correlation with the strength of corporate culture. Finally, the article promote some advises on China's enterprises to speed up the pace of cultural constuction and restructuring of corporate culture.
