Project Management In Intelligent Building Construction

With the constant development of economy, people's production and lifestyles are changing.Especially nowadays, low carbon life and low carbon economy are emphasized, and traditional debilitating buildings have begun exposes their shortcomings.Then,intelligent buildings, which will soon substitute for traditional buildings, have caused more and more attention. However, how many benefits this new building type will give people is unknown.This paper introduces the definition of project management, knowledge systems and its trend. Then overviewing the theoretical aspects of intelligent buildings, including the meaning, characteristics and the current development of intelligent buildings at home and abroad. Next, combine project management to the intelligent buildings, and analysising the status that the project management knowledge applied in the process of building intelligent building, mainly from the schedule management, cost management, quality management, risk management. Then make not only the evaluation of the implementation, economic evaluation and risk assessment, but also its environmental and social evaluation, and draw the appropriate conclusions. Finally, the thesis gives a brief summary and some thoughts on the deficiency of the article and the directions of further research.It proves that Project Management theory and method is very suitable for the construction and management of the intelligent buildings, and using this method has improved management performance.It tests that the intelligent building is advanced and environmentally friendly from environment,society and economic.
