In recent years, with the increased investment in national infrastructure, port construction companies are facing unprecedented opportunities, according to The12th Five-Year Plan, only the coastal port infrastructure, during the12th Five-Year Plan period, our country plans to increase around440million-ton deepwater berths. Facing the rare chance, domestic port construction companies are trying their best to occupy more market quotient. They adopt different ways, such as attract more person with ability, shoot for capital and financial support, optimize and upgrade their equipments and ships, etc. Especially the project technician have gradually become the basis of competitive advantage, because they play an important role in propelling the innovation of construction technology, the transformation and application of technological achievements. So how to inspirit them is the key point for human resource administration, and has a long-term influence to company. In view of this, the author chooses a rapid growth company-GC as an object of study, which guided by modern incentive theory to analyze the shortcoming of its incentive mechanism deeply from the current situation of the project technician in GC. Starting from practice, the author redesigns the incentive mechanism for the project technician. It is to help GC improving effect of incentive mechanism, stimulating the project technician's enthusiasm and creativity, trying their best to serve company.This paper is composed by five chapters, Chapter1is introduction, this paper introduces the background and significance of the subject, the research content. Chapter2describes the characteristics of GC company and the project technician, the current situation of the project technician's incentive mechanism and discusses the problems. Chapter3is the main theme of this paper. It emphasizes the way to optimize design precept for the project technician in GC. The author designs an incentive mechanism, the system includes an immanent one and an exterior one. Chapter4addresses the prac-ticing condition and the ways to actualize of incentive mechanism. Finally, this part explains the revelation in the reforging process of incentive mechanism of the project technician and the disadvantages of this paper.
