Research On Grain Logistics Development Of Jinzhou Port

As is known to all, grain is of great importance to humans, and it is the important strategic commodity that related to national life. Grain production, supply, transportation, marketing, processing and trade will have far-reaching influence on the country's stability and development. The positive development of grain related industry plays a very important role in speeding up the grain circulation, bringing down the grain price, stabling grain market and promoting national and regional economic growth. As a big population country, our country's grain problems are particularly important. At present, the grain production of southern coastal provinces and cities decrease gradually, but increase obviously in the north areas, and demand for grain are also increasing, therefore, north grain shipped to south has become the major means of grain circulation in China, as the nearest export of northeast region, Jinzhou port has become the "gold waterway"of north grain shipped to south. In this circumstance, pointing out the corresponding strategy to develop grain logistics will have important practical significance for Jinzhou port.This paper first introduced the basic theory of the grain logistics as well as the present situation of domestic and foreign grain logistics. After illustrating present situation of grain logistics of Jinzhou port, this paper analyses internal environment and external environment and industry environment of jinzhou port's grain logistics development. Then this paper make the SWOT analysis for Jinzhou port based on above illustration, and puts forward the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. And then using the grey prediction of the GM (1,1) model to forecast the grain logistics volume of the coming decade for Jinzhou port. Finally proposed the strategic target and development countermeasures for grain logistics of Jinzhou port. This paper points out that Jinzhou port should fully exert the status and roles on its north grain shipped to south, and seize the historical opportunities of Jinzhou port"eight cooperation","the northeast big revitalization" strategy and "port promoting city, construction of Jinzhou port" thinking, make great efforts to perfect jinzhou port grain logistics facilities and equipment, strengthen external railway transport capacity and improve the port management level of specialization and informationization. The above development countermeasures and suggestions will play a certain role in grain logistics development of Jinzhou port.
