Steel sheet pile is a new environmental building material which mainly applies in thefields such as wharf, dock, pier, embankment, retaining wall and weir projects. Because ofthe characteristic of its structure,it can be construct easily and the mountain of cost wouldbe saved in the building projects. In addition it can be used repeatedly, so it is powerful toprotect the source of land and the effect of environmental protection is obvious. Abroad,steel sheet pile have been in widespread use for most of the 20thcentury and the techniqueof the production of steel sheet pile have been also very mature. But steel sheet pile is stilllittle used by now in our country, and the study of technique for producing sheet pile isseverely undeveloped. Today the infrastructure construction is in the stage of prosperousdevelopment, and more attention is asked to pay in the environmental protection, this willbe give a chance to the development of steel sheet pile which is one of economical andenvironmental protection building material in our country.This article mainly design the pass schedule of one kind of U-section steel sheet pile.The shape of its section is complex, the deformation and temperature of metal isnon-homogeneous in hot rolling process, it is very difficult to produce, so little companiesproduce this section steel in our country. This article designed the original pass scheduleof steel sheet pile by analyzing and studying the pass schedule in other country and thepass schedule of other section steel, meanwhile, the three-dimensional of the rolling androlled pieces were established with the software of Pro/E, then they were assembled andsimulated with the software of DEFORM-3D. Firstly, according to the section shape andthe straightness of roll pieces,the rationality of the designed pass schedule could bejudged simply. Secondly,In order to insure the feasibility of the pass schedule, theelongation ratio and rolling force of each pass and metal flow regular pattern,thedistribution of effective stress and the temperature field would be analyzed in detail.Finally, the designs of some important passes were discussed and some recommendationand opinion were proposed. These would provide effective help in real production.
