Fast forging hydraulic press is an important equipment about pressure processing,which has become an important index of national science and technology developmentlevel. Recently, with the development of computer and information technology, thequality and productivity are getting higher and higher. As a result, a suitably fasthydraulic unit control system is needed, so forging size accuracy and forging speed areimproved, and the time is shortened, and the steel is saved, and the economic benefitbecomes better. In view of the characteristics of the hydraulic control system of31.5MNfast forging hydraulic press, PLC control system was designed, and building model andsimulation were to answer the question whether the hydraulic system meetedrequirements.Firstly, Lots of domestic and foreign fast forging hydraulic material weresynthesized.The system components of31.5MN fast forging hydraulic were introduced,including body structure, manipulator, hydraulic control system. Hydraulic controlcharacteristic and working characteristic were analyzed in detail. PLC control systemwas designed, which composed two parts: IPC and PLC control system.Secondly, according to the complex characteristics of control object detection andcontrol laws, from the stability of system, expansibility, usability, and easy maintenancestart, PROFIBUS-DP Master-Slave FMS system was presented. PLC communicatedwith IPC by the Siemens high-speed industrial Ethernet. Working principle of fastforging hydraulic press groups linkage was analyzed, and control process andcommunication data structure were designed.Thirdly, electrical transmission system, manipulation platform panel, and PLChardware control system of hydraulic press groups were designed. On account of thequestion of big shock and vibration of hydraulic press, based on the research of forgingcurve and discharging pressure curve, Manual, semiautomatic, automatic working modeof PLC control scheme were respectively designed. PLC response time of fast forgingwas calculated. To achieve the requirement of the whole production processvisualization, the IPC monitoring interface and touch screen control interface weredesigned, which laid the root for the further software design.Finally, according to fast forging hydraulic system using accumulator, themathematical model of key elements were deduced. The dynamic model of work batch system and return batch system and load subsystem and PID controller simulation werefound. The simulation model was packaged. The mathematical model of the whole fastforging process and Matlab/Sulink simulation were built. The results show that the fastforging hydraulic press using accumulator performed perfect.
