| With the continuous development and advance of our society, the demand for steel isgrowing. So, the sintering machine supplying raw materials for the blast furnace isbecoming more and more improtant. According to the present situation, the belt sinteringmachines of odd-teeth are applied by most of the manufacturers. However, theinsufficiency of structure and transmission principle for belt sintering machine ofodd-teeth leading to a series of related issues, such as the pallet car’ volatility fluctuateand the so-called phenomen-arching, whith can cause air leakage. Through the methodthat bring to bear the resistance moment in the tail of the sintering machine, the problemof the pallet car’arching has been resolved effectively, and based on the transmission andmeshing theory, announced the even-teeth sprocket wheel and the corresponding toothprofile, become the most ideal transmission way of sintering machine’ sprocket wheel sofar. But the design theory about selecting the motion of the pallet car is inadequate: first,the transition period of tooth profile curve is comprised of the two part of the curve,make the meshing process is not stable and it can produce harmful impact between thepallet car. Second, the srtucture of rolling wheel is selected based on experience, the lackof a systematic study of the impact from surface strength on the sporcket wheel.Therefore, this research has important theoretical significance and economic value.The subject relies on the National Natural Science Foundation The research ondesign theory of the main motion system in the sintering machine without arching.First, based on the recent theories of the new type even-tooth sintering machine’ssprocket wheel, some parameters of the wheel are optimized. So that the engagement ofthe wheel with the pallet car are more perfect to reduce adverse contact and collisionwhen the machine is running. After parameters of the wheel are optimized, the wheelremodeled and the feasibility of the optimized wheel is verfied using ADAMSsimulation.Second, by using Visual Basic6.0, parametric design is employed for the main partsof the even-tooth machine (wheel, pallet car, and track). With the help of the soft, Solidworks, the automatic creation of three dimensional models of wheel and track canbe archived. At the same time, by offering the desired output, pallet car, wheel and trackcan be selected automatically. Also, some information of simulation data of the sinteringmachine is available.Thirdly, roller drum-shaped volume of the pallet car—the main part of the sinteringmachine—is studied. Using Hertz theory, contact stress values are determined. Contactanalysis of stars gear with roller has been done with the help of finite element analysissoftware like ANSYS Workbench. Through analyzing the amount of skew and elasticdeformation, the proper roller drum-shaped volume is found, which supplies a theoreticbasis for the better engagement of gear with roller. |
