Light emission induced by chemical reactions, known as chemiluminescence (CL),owing to its unique advantages of lack of background scattering light interference, highsensitivity, simple instrumentation, rapid analysis and wide calibration ranges has been widelyused in analytical applications. Phenol and bisphenol A are kind of common pollutants.Estrogens are important therapeutic agents that have been used as replacements orsupplements for inadequate supplies of the natural hormone or in suppressive therapy tocounter the effects of other hormones. Diethylstilbestrol, estradiol valerate, and estradiol, asman-made estrogenic hormone, could influence the human’s endocrine system. Tyramine, isone of the biogenic amines, which were produced as degradation products resulting frommicrobial activity. In human, tyramine involved in physical activity and can induce anincrease in blood pressure. However, the consumption of food with high concentration oftyramine can bring about adverse reaction such as headache and hypertension, which attributeto the consumption of manoamine oxidase inhibitor. Acetaminophen is an analgesic andantipyretic drug. It is used mainly for the reduction of fever and as a pain killer for the reliefof moderate pain associated with backache, headache, arthritis, and postoperative pain.Overdoses of acetaminophen produce the accumulation of toxic metabolites, which may causesevere and sometimes fatal hepatoxicity and nephrotoxicity. Thus, to invent a fast andaccurate method to detect these drugs would be very necessary. The research sections were asfollowing:Chapter1: IntroductionFirst, the principle and characteristics of the chemiluminescence method, the commonchemiluminescence system and applications of chemiluminescence in pharmaceutical analysishave been summarized. Furthermore, we have described the porphyrin compound and itsapplication. At last, the purpose and significance of this dissertation were presented.Chapter2: Metalloporphyrin-catalyzed luminol-hydrogen peroxide chemiluminescenceand its analytical applicationsIt was found that metalloporphyrin could enhance the chemiluminescence of theluminol-hydrogen peroxide system. And some drugs could inhibit these enhanced CL signals in alkaline solution. Based on the CL inhibition, the new CL methods were developed for thedetermination of phenol, tyramine, and diethylstilbestrol, respectively. Under optimumconditions, linear ranges of are2.0×10-94.0×10-7g·mL-1,6.0×10-102.0×10-8g·mL-1and2.0×10-81.0×10-7g·mL-1,8.0×10-101.0×10-8g·mL-1and1.0×10-81.0×10-7g·mL-1,respectively. The detection limit were estimated to be4.0×10-10g·mL-1,2.2×10-10g·mL-1, and3.2×10-10g·mL-1, respectively. The proposed methods were applied successfully for thedetermination of drugs in real samples. The possible reaction mechanisms were discussedbriefly.Chapter3: Metalloporphyrin-catalyzed luminol-potassium ferricyanidechemiluminescence and its analytical applicationsIt was found that metalloporphyrin could enhance the chemiluminescence of theluminol-potassium ferricyanide system. And some drugs could inhibit these enhanced CLsignals in alkaline solution. Based on the CL inhibition, the new CL methods were developedfor the determination of estradiol valerate, bisphenol A, estradiol and acetaminophen, respectively. Under optimized conditions,8.0×10-81.0×10-6g·mL-1and1.0×10-61.0×10-5g·mL-1,4.0×10-101.0×10-8g·mL-1and1.0×10-88.0×10-7g·mL-1,6.0×10-101.0×10-8g·mL-1and1.0×10-81.0×10-6g·mL-1,4.0×10-101.0×10-8g·mL-1and1.0×10-81.0×10-7g·mL-1,respectively. The detection limit were estimated to be3.5×10-8g·mL-1,1.8×10-10g·mL-1,2.8×10-11g·mL-1, and1.8×10-11g·mL-1, respectively. The proposed methods were appliedsuccessfully for the determination of drugs in real samples. The possible reaction mechanismswere discussed briefly.Chapter4: Conclusion and prospect...
