The Research On The Coordination Development Of Energy And Economic And Ecological Environment In Shandong Province

By the beginning of this century, most of the countries in the world bear thegreat pressure of economic development and face with serious energy andenvironment problems issues. The inconsistent development between energy andeconomy, ecological environment is a very serious issue in china. As the developedprovince of the China’s eastern coast,Shandong followed the extensive economicgrowth mode with the Characteristics of high input, high consumption, high speed,and low efficiency. The contradictions between energy and environment, energy andeconomy restrict the economic development of Shandong province. So, it is a topicworthy of in-depth study that the coordination development of energy and economyand ecological environment in Shandong province.The study content of this paper mainly consists of the following aspects:(1)Analyzing the current situation of energy, ecological environment andeconomy in Shandong area. The economic development of Shandong province rankssecond in China with the Characteristics of high speed, high benefit andhealth-development. But there a big gap of the level of economic developmentbetween the eastern and western regions. The energy in Shandong mainly relies oncoal and oil, which has single structure and unbalanced development. The ecologicalenvironment has a big improvement, but there are still many problems.(2) The paper analyses the relationship of energy, environment and economy forShandong Province using the VAR model of establishing econometric analysis. Theresults showed that the relationship between energy consumption and economicdevelopment is mutual promotion. The development of economy depends on energyconsumption and is beneficial to reduce energy consumption. energy consumption andeconomic development increases environment pollution which in turn, restricts thedevelopment of economy in Shandong province.(3) The paper evaluates the coordination development of energy and economyand ecological environment in Shandong province by Establishing3E modelevaluation index system. The coordination development of energy and economy andecological environment is unbalanced in Shandong province, because Shandongdevelops economy at the expense of energy and ecological environment for a long time. According to the current development trend, the coordination development ofShandong could become better in year2010.In2010,there are five cities of17cities inShandong province the comprehensive coordination degree of energy and economicand ecological environment in not harmonious stage. And the comprehensivecoordination degree of twelve cities are in primary coordination phase. Thecoordination degree of energy is the lowest than economy and ecological environment,which explains that there is a lack of restriction in the aspect of energy structureadjustment and the rational use of energy in Shandong province.
