With the development of a new technology in recent years, Distribution Automation isthe inevitable trend of power system modemization. Distribution Automation System is animportant element of Distribution Automation, it is automation and supervising systemwhich applies computer and network technology, communications to integrating distributionsystem real time information, user information, geographic information and electric networkparameter. For distribution automation, the selection and realization of communicationsprotocol and mode is an important tache, and is the foundation of data and order transferredspeedily and reliably.Feeder Automation plays an important role in improving quality of power supplyreliability and energy quality. It is one of the important contents of the DistributionAutomation. As the fundamental control unit of Feeder Automation, Feeder Terminal Unit(FTU), when the failure occurred, it can quickly collect the fault information, report theremote switch state change to the main station, according to the remote control informationby the main station to achieve fault isolation and power supply.This Paper mainly studies the achievement of IEC60870-5-101and IEC60870-5-104protocol in μC/OS-Ⅱ based on TMS320F28335. First it summarizes distribution automationsystem and feeder automation system, introduces their relationships, researches and analyzesfunctions should be realized. In chapter two,we deeply analyze kernel structure, functions,features of the real-time Embedded Operating System μC/OS-Ⅱ, the system μC/OS-Ⅱissuccessfully ported toTMS320F28335,and prove successful by the test.In chapter three,itmainly introduces system structure and working processes of FTU,and DSP core board,circuit design of asynchronous serial RS485and Ethernet controller RTL8019are describedin detail. In chapter four,we complete the writing of serial communication program andFTU software design of101protocol under μC/OS-Ⅱ by understanding IEC60870-5-101 protocol and serial communication interface (SCI) module. Finally, we send and receive101protocol between the host computer (PC) and the FTU, the experimental test proves, this partmeets the basic requirement of the IEC60870-5-101protocol. In chapter five, we completedriver program writing of Ethernet controller RTL8019, the port of the TCP/IP protocol toμC/OS-Ⅱ and FTU software design of104protocol under μC/OS-Ⅱ by introducingIEC60870-5-104protocol, embedded TCP/IP protocol and Ethernet controller RTL8019.Atlast, we send and receive104protocol between the host computer (PC) and the FTU, theexperimental test proves, this part meets the basic requirement of the IEC60870-5-104protocol.
