To alleviate this contradiction, we need toconduct a traffic impact assessment of urban complex construction projects.The Evaluation Research on the traffic impact of the domestic and internationalurban complex construction projects are described in detail, on this basis, the urbancomplex construction project traffic impact assessment process. Secondly, the use ofthe traffic impact of the plume model of urban complex to be determined, as well as theuse of a growth trend method to predict the background traffic and the four-stagemodel method to predict project traffic forecasts. The same time, the selectedconstruction projects surrounding areas major road sections and intersections, publictransport facilities, static transport facilities such as evaluation, using the generalizedfunction method and levels of analysis which combines the traffic impact assessmentof the complex.Finally, the paper application of the above methods to North station houseconstruction project of Changchun City, the traffic impact analysis, and given aspecific improvement plan.
