In recent years, with the rapid development of the nationaltransport undertakings, domestic road construction machineryindustry has made considerable progress. Compared to importedbrands, products, systems optimization, intelligent level there is alarge gap, the gap is particularly evident, especially on the roadpaving equipment, high technology content, the domestic market ofhigh-grade paver is basically monopolized by VOGELE, ABG,DYNAPAC.This paper combines the XCMG RP953asphalt paver newproduct development,conduct the technology research for coolingsystem. Through the fan-driven hydraulic system design selection,modeling analysis, and the electrical control system design selection,program design, has achieved the application of the paver intelligentcooling system design. Through Industrial assessment achieved thedesired objective, it is not only improve the technological content ofproducts and intelligent level, while has reduced the overall noiseand power consumption, and to bring tangible benefits to the user.By compare the form of cooling-driven and combined with thesystem whole layout, a smart cooling drive system of hydraulicprogram was proposed, it contains the gear pump motor and electricinverse relief valve. To use of the structural characteristics of thecartridge valves has designed a integrated valve block of easilyinstalled and compact. According to the fan torque/speed curves,by theoretical calculations reasonably appropriate to match the drivemotor, pump and control pressure range, achieve the selection of thehydraulic system components, and AMESim-MATLAB/Simulink co-simulation and actual test, to verify the feasibility and correctnessof the hydraulic system.Through research on the control principle of the intelligentcontrol system,Intelligent cooling system control block diagram wasproposed. According to the control requirements, selection anddesign the electrical system’s critical hardware-the controller andtemperature sensor. Finally, the controller has selected the Italian theTT Control company TTC60and in accordance with the controllerand temperature sensor has completed the hardware design ofperipheral circuits.The control program is the key to intelligent cooling system, itscore is the intelligent control of program flow and signal processing.By comparison, judgment, and calculation of the input signal, thefinal output control signal drive proportional relief valve control fanspeed. In this project, the main process and output control signalalgorithm suitable for XCMG RP953asphalt paver intelligent coolingsystem, and to use CoDeSys2.3software platform to complete thepreparation of the control program.The actual installed has verified that the fan speed varies withtemperature changes. Through a long-time industrial assessmenttest, it is basically meet the high-intensity work in a variety ofconditions and the high temperature environment, further confirmedthe reliability of the system.
