Study On Traffric Organization Of Expressway Expansion Project

With fast growth of traffic volume and car ownership in our country, a lotof expressways, which were built up in early period, appeared that theircapacities were insufficient, service levels has dropped, and these factors haveeven become the reasons of traffic congestion and accidents. In order to improvethese conditions, large-scale reconstruetion and extension of expressways havebecome a hot spot in China’s expressway construction. It’s important that how todivert the traffic flow in time during the renovation and expansion. Therefore,study of the traffic organization program has an important significance.Based on the analysis of relevant research results, this paper discusses thefeatures of various reconstruction programs, analyzes the influence factors ofexpressway reconstruction technology, summarizes the advantages anddisadvantages of reconstruction mode. This paper also study the trafficorganization program and explores their features and applicability. Combinedwith analysing the influence factors of traffic organization program, this paperproposes the traffic organization strategy, which’s principle is "remotediversion,midrange control, proximal management". Based on the project, the paper studies the traffic organization program during reconstruction, which aimsto make traffic organization plans reasonable，practical and take into accountevery aspect.The conclusions of this paper provide the new ideas and methods for thetraffic organization during expressway reconstruction programs, which isreference value to the traffic organization in reconstruction area.
