Along with the rapid growth of the economy, electricity consumers increasingdemands on the quality and reliability of power supply, while an expansion andtransformation on the system of distribution network. Planning, research and potentialdevelopment of distribution automation system are imperative. Due to the implementationof the electricity market and development of computer hardware and software technology,more and more new technologies will be applied in distribution networks, distributionautomation technology will became mature gradually, providing technical guarantee forthe safe and efficient operations of the distribution network. The distribution networkautomation engineering in China are on the basis of the existing distribution networkplanning and design, using planned power outage for implementation of the project,therefore, the applications of distribution automation project planning theory andconstruction project management are particularly important.This thesis proceed from the basic theory of project management, research on currentstatus project management and project planning objectives Suzhou distribution automationengineering, the basic elements of the press project management, requirements andcharacteristics of the elements of management guidance planning and construction of thedistribution network automation projects. In this thesis, the realization of the practicalapplication of project management theories and methods of distribution automation projectin Suzhou, based on comprehensive consideration of various elements of management, theuse of modern project management theory, methods and tools focus on the organizationalstructure of the Suzhou distribution automation project design; project management theoryto guide the progress of the project construction process management, quality management,and cost management fundamentals.In conclusion, distribution automation project in Suzhou is efficient, high-quality inorder to achieve the desired objectives, extremely improved the field operation ofdistribution network equipment maintenance controllable, the ability to control and workefficiently, proved the effective uses of project management theory to enhance the distribution network research.
