Contemporary society, whether the industrial and agricultural production or nationaldefenses build, each field can’t do without electric energy. From the beginning of electricityproduced, then stepping up to the ultrahigh pressure, finally dropping to users, the series of linksis inseparable from the distribution. In the power distribution process, intelligent circuit breakerplays a very important role. It can not only break or make line in normal circumstances, but alsocan quickly response and flexible to realize protection when lines appear overload, short circuitfault and so on. Through the application of field bus, people developed communication module,it can put the intelligent appliances interconnect, and can transmit the equipment operationcondition and parameter information to the background computer management system, and alsothey can receive the relevant information and instructions from the computer at the same time, sowe realize the network remote debugging and monitoring.This topic chooses the chip LPC2294as the lower machine control core, it is based onARM7core, and is one32-bit’s open bus MCU; choosing the chip C8051F040as the uppermachine control core, it is based on CIP51core, and is one8-bit’s open bus MCU; choosingembedded real-time operating system μC/OS-Ⅱas the software system, using the characteristicsof the system can be deprive of the kernel, through setting up different task priority height,meeting the requirement of real-time tasks and improving the CPU utilization, so themicroprocessor can response quickly and the protection functions are more flexible.Hardware mainly includes LPC2294minimum system circuit, C8051F040minimumsystem circuit, the signal collection circuit, CAN communication circuit and peripheral circuitdesign. The minimum system circuit including crystal oscillator circuit and reset circuit, powersupply circuit, and peripheral circuit part includes key, digital tube, LCD screen, touch screencircuits and so on. CAN communication circuit including CAN transceiver circuit, CAN networkcircuit design, and so on. The signal collection circuit sends the digital signal to the single-chipmicrocomputer, through its operation processing and logical analysis then it has output accordingto the analysis results of the single chip microcomputer.The final experimental results show, the lower machine’s protection function is perfect,CAN-bus can realize communication of the field equipment well, the real-time and stability ofthe equipment can meet the job requirements completely.
