Fog seal coat is a preventive conservation measures of asphaltpavement. When the asphalt pavement is normally used for severalyears, the road began to show a minor fatigue cracking and a lossof fine aggregate. And its water permeability is greatly increased.The road surface water will pass through cracks and fine aggregatedamaging apartment (undisguised Department) into the asphaltmixture, which further accelerated the damage to the pavement.During this period, the road is largely intact, if the pavementis not disposed timely, it will result in net crack, cracks,potholes and other road damage, and can penetrate through the fogseal coat, because the materials mobility go to aggregate crackscan flow into the cracks in the pavement "blood transfusion" torestore the road surface asphalt adhesion to fill small cracksand voids, and pavement performance for2to3years time, toimprove the economic efficiency of the road. In most areas of theTibetan Plateau radiation than the same latitude in eastern China,about1times. Study the existingsolvent asphalt fog seal coat pavement maintenance materialslight fastness aging properties; and choose a variety of uringagent modified, kerosene and diesel in different proportions inthe above study on the basis of the preparation of a fog seal layermaterial (solvents, asphalt), and to study the anti-agingproperties.Self-assembly a set of ultraviolet light box andthermal simulation aging ultraviolet radiation aging box.Thedevice can effectively simulation asphalt in strong sunlight inthe environment of aging, the test cycle is short.Aging before and after physical performance and chemicalanalysis results showed that the anti-aging properties of the fogseal coat material than asphalt and commercial products,modifiers effectively enhance the anti-aging properties of thefog seal coat material. Indoor rut board simulation results show that the fog seal material can significantly reduce the seepagecoefficient of the asphalt pavement, and reduce the possibilityof water damage occurs; The rut board skid resistance test resultsshow that the spray fog seal material, pavement skid resistanceAlthough the decline, but the decline is smaller structural depthand friction coefficient can still meet the specificationrequirements. Comparative test of the test sections before andafter the construction of the fog seal coat of permeability,before the construction of sections of part of the section ofpermeability larger variability; treated by the fog seal layer,road closed, the seepage coefficient is reduced, to prevent orreduce the road surface free of water seepage, and beneficial toreduce the road water damage, and extend the pavement servicelife.
