On-line Monitoring Technology Of Power Grid Metering Device And The Study Of Electricity Measurement Telemetry System

The traditional electric energy data statistics and analysis work is carried out based onartificial field meter reading works. This way has some disadvantages like staffing, lowefficiency, easy to appear the human error. The realization and application of onlinemonitoring technology of grid metering devices changed this adverse situation. And asimportant constituent of intelligent power system technology, it greatly promoted thedevelopment process of the intelligent power grid.The Online Monitoring Technology of grid metering devices is realized through threeimportant components: Power metering device, Communication Network and Master stationsystem. Based on the study of all kinds of technical standard basis, this paper expounds theselection of power metering device and the technical requirements of setting upcommunication network, then designs including the hardware and software of master stationsystem, network connection and security architecture, and finally use the remote-measuringsystem achieve a variety of application function of measuring, realizing the online monitoringtechnology of grid metering.When the technical renovation for power metering device and the communicationnetwork of Foshan area substation and power plants completed, and also the master stationsystem set up, can automatically generate substation electricity statements, replacing theoriginal artificial field meter reading work mode, to improve the accuracy and timeliness ofelectric energy data. In addition, it can realize abnormal line loss comprehensive analysis, findfield equipment failure by remote way, provide technical support for equipment operation andmaintenance team, and promote automation and informatization process of meteringmanagement.
