With the rapid development of global economic and technology, the enterprise is notonly faced with the fierce competition from domestic competition, also fierce the impact bythe large enterprises from all over the world. In such fierce competition environment, how canthe enterprise remain invincible in the process of competition, become the enterprise urgentneed. The enterprise must constantly developing customers and adequate enough profit fromthe product, to ensure the long-term development of enterprise.The main consideration of Quality Function Development method is the customerdemand and the product quality. In the process of design, the QFD method takes lack analysisof the product function and not consideration of the cost. In contrast, the Value Engineeringtheory is mainly consider of how to reduce the cost of product design, and takes lack analysisof the customer need. Therefore, caused the designed products can’t utmost satisfied customerneed.Based on consulting a large number of relevant literature, by combined with ValueEngineering theory and Quality Function Development method, presents a product designmodel which can improvement innovation of current product. Firstly, by constructing“demand-function” relation matrix form, we can analysis if there are some functions impactthe customer requirements to be achieved, adjusted the function till we obtained the functionbase on customer demand. Secondly, by construction “parts-based on the demanded function”relation matrix form, we can analysis if all the function based on customer demand can beachieved through the parts. Through the above tow steps, we determine the productimprovement plan and implement it in the design process. Finally, we evaluated theimplementation effect.
