Urban distribution network is by the end of power system, it has high load density and high levels of the power supply reliability requirements. In recent years, the power load of some cities in our country grow rapidly, there are more and more new problems appeared in Urban distribution network constructing and planning:the land power grid planning construction is difficult to implement,the city land utilization rate is high, and has many uncertain factors, term load forecasting accuracy has much error. So the electric power system studies must be focused on the city grid planning.There are more and more new models and new methods appeared to solved different problems from different aspects. But now, all kinds of existing model and method can not be adapt to the demands of the new situation.This paper seriously analyzed the problems of existing distribution network in China, objectively evaluated the existing planning method advantages and shortcomings, summarized the city grid plan of the new situation, the new risk, new requirements and development trend. According to the practical work experiences, This paper put forward a new auxiliary planning method-Meshing Analysis, and the methods to realize this frame flow.This paper applied Meshing Analysis to finish AX county grid analysis distribution network planning project. It has been proved that this method Effectively evade the main risk which is existed in distribution planning. It Conforms the main tendency of the development of the city grid and it is useful to enhance our country’s city network planning level.
