Some new equipment and new concepts has emerged such as merged unit, smart terminal, virtual terminal, and repair mechanisms. Based on these changes and differences, new methods and standards have to establish, in connection with the check of intelligent substation secondary circuit. Especially as the key to intelligent substation secondary circuit, intelligent terminals should be the core part of the test. Focusing on smart devices, this article has established the new inspection process to improve the correctness of the secondary circuit of intelligent substations and standardize repair and maintenance work of the intelligent equipment. It also can improve equipment reliability and ensure the safe and stable operation of smart grid.
